# Sand filter

> Sand filter maximizes the water filtration of the hot tub or swim spa and is required in Italian public installations. Quartz sand not included.

The BL-FILSAB sand filter is a water sanitation device that many Italian ASLs require to be installed in public facilities.
The filter body is made of fibreglass wire wound and uses quartz sand (not supplied) as filter element. The 0.5 HP pump is supplied and filters 7 cubic meters of water per hour and has a reduced power consumption.
It can be installed on all Beauty Luxury hot tub and swim spa, this element can be used on all products on the market.
The compact overall size of 77x60x58 cm makes it easy to install in a small technical compartment adjacent to the hot tub.
The quartz sand should be replaced when a significant reduction in flow is detected and in any case it is recommended to do so at least once a year in case of very intense use.
