Beauty Luxury products are hand-made by craftsmen. For this reason, the stated measures may undergo slight variations. The product and accessory photos shown may therefore differ slightly from the final product. The photos shown are not binding. Excluding consumable products, all others are delivered by a specialised courier. For this reason, the exact shipping cost will only be indicated after the exact delivery address has been provided (please always report the presence of restricted-traffic zones, historic centres, or narrow streets inaccessible to trucks).
The replacement of the lava (or peridotic) stones of the Finnish sauna stove is done on average every 2 years. The stones used are carefully selected to ensure that once positioned they allow optimal conservation of the heat that will be released in the sauna session. An indicator of the fact that the peridotic stones are exhausted and must be replaced is the presence of crumbled parts inside the stove. The correct positioning of the stones is fundamental for the durability and efficiency of the lava stone stove. The new stones must be inserted starting from the flatter ones that will be placed between the resistances, without forcing them. Then we will move on to the rounded ones, creating layers to repair the resistances, always without forcing them laterally or from above. The water that will be thrown on the stones, in fact, will not have to arrive directly on the resistances to avoid strong thermal shocks to the resistances.
