Oval whirlpool baths

A shape with no corners

The Whirlpool bath BL-504 measures 180 × 95 cm and is the only oval whirlpool bath in the range. The shape is not only an aesthetic choice: with no internal corners the body rests continuously along the whole wall, without the rigid contact points a rectangular bath creates at the shoulders and hips. It costs € 2.830.

How it fits into a bathroom

The external footprint is that of a standard bath, 180 × 95 cm, so it replaces an existing bath without rebuilding the room. The difference against a rectangular bath of the same size is inside: the oval shape slightly reduces usable volume at the corners, where nobody rests anyway. In exchange there are no corners to clean, which is a difference you notice in routine maintenance. Empty weight is 142 kg, the order of magnitude of a conventional bath.

Installation

It needs the connections of an ordinary bath: a drain, hot and cold water feeds and a compliant socket for bathroom environments, with earth and residual current protection. The equipment bay housing the pump has to stay accessible through an inspection panel: this is the point most often forgotten at design stage, and it makes any later maintenance awkward. The bath arrives as a single piece: check the doorway before ordering.

Frequently asked questions about oval whirlpool baths

Does it take more space than a rectangular bath? No, the external footprint is the same: 180 × 95 cm. What changes is the internal shape, not the area occupied.

Can it be installed outdoors? No. It is a bathtub, with no independent heater and no insulation for outdoor use. For a garden you need an outdoor hot tub.

How many people does it seat? It is a single bath. For two positions you need the two-person models, which start at 150 cm in width.

How much does it cost? € 2.830, in the standard configuration.
