Double tub swim spas

Double tub swim spas

Two tubs in one body: swimming and relaxation kept apart

A dual-zone swim spa solves a practical problem: whoever is swimming wants cooler moving water, whoever is relaxing wants it warm and still. In a single body with two independent tubs both work at once, each with its own temperature and its own system. The 3 models run from 585 to 1175 cm in length, on a constant width of 220 cm, and from € 25.193 to € 59.771.

The models and what separates them

The Swim spa BL-850 measures 585 × 220 cm with 134 jets: it is the most compact and the most accessible. The Swim spa BL-859 reaches 810 cm in length and carries 193 jets, the highest count in the entire Beauty Luxury range, across 10 positions. The Swim spa BL-856 is the largest model: 1175 cm, almost twelve metres, with a swimming tub approaching a proper pool. The jump in price between models reflects the jump in size, not the specification.

Weight, excavation and plant room

These are the most demanding products in the range. Empty weights run from 820 kg on the Swim spa BL-850 to 1900 kg on the Swim spa BL-856; full, they comfortably exceed ten tonnes. Installation always requires a structural design and a dedicated concrete base: this is not a product that sits on a terrace. A plant room is also needed for pumps, filtration and heating, and the supply is typically three-phase 380 V. Positioning can be above ground, partially recessed or fully recessed.

Frequently asked questions about dual-zone swim spas

Do the two tubs run at different temperatures? Yes, and that is the point of this configuration: the swimming zone is typically held between 26 and 28 degrees, the relaxation zone up to 39. The systems are independent.

Is planning permission required? It depends on the local authority and the type of installation. An above-ground tub often falls under permitted development or a simple notification, a recessed one almost never does. Check with your surveyor before purchase: this is the step that extends timescales.

What does it cost to run? Running cost depends on volume, on the set temperatures and above all on the thermal cover, which at these volumes makes a substantial difference. At this size a dedicated heat pump is often worth considering.

How much does it cost? From € 25.193 to € 59.771, depending on size and configuration. Delivery and installation are quoted against the project.
