Two very different formats for eight people

The 2 eight-seater outdoor hot tubs answer opposite needs. The Hot tub BL-817 is a square of 230 × 230 cm with 65 jets: it fits a garden of ordinary size and remains the more balanced choice. The Hot tub BL-852 measures 380 × 220 cm, with nearly twice the water and 78 jets, in an elongated shape closer to a small pool than to a tub. The difference in footprint is stark: just over five square metres against more than eight. Leave 50-60 cm free on every accessible side for maintenance and access to the equipment bay.

How much they weigh when full

This is the decisive figure at this size, because the water volumes are substantial. Empty, the Hot tub BL-817 weighs 450 kg and the Hot tub BL-852 510 kg; with water they reach around two tonnes and over three respectively, before adding eight bathers. On a concrete base at ground level these are manageable figures with no special works. On terraces, floor slabs or raised decks a structural engineer's survey is essential: the numbers given here establish the order of magnitude, they do not replace a load-bearing assessment.

The Hot tub BL-817 carries 65 jets, the Hot tub BL-852 has 78 spread across a much longer shell with differentiated seating positions. Both have an Aristech® acrylic shell made in USA on a self-supporting frame and Balboa Systems® TP600 electronics, with chromotherapy, Bluetooth audio system and ozone steriliser as standard. Single-phase 220/240 V supply, three-phase 380 V on request. Both can be installed above ground, partially recessed or fully recessed, outdoors as well as indoors. Two-year warranty, CE compliant.

Frequently asked questions about 8 seater hot tubs

Are they inflatable? No. These are rigid acrylic shells on self-supporting frames, with a PVC exterior: they stay installed all year and are not dismantled seasonally. If you are looking for an inflatable eight-person spa, these are not the right products.

Is the water heated? Yes. The Balboa heater brings the water up to 39 °C and holds it all year round, including outdoors in winter. At this capacity the thermal cover is not really an optional extra: it has a significant effect on running costs.

Is there a 10 seater model? Maximum capacity in the range is nine seats. For larger requirements a bespoke build can be considered: Beauty Luxury tubs are made by hand and dimensions can be adapted to the project.
