The shape that replaces an existing bath

A rectangular whirlpool bath is the one you install without rebuilding the bathroom: it occupies the same footprint as a conventional bath and sits between the walls on three sides. The 15 rectangular models cover one to two seats, with widths from 69 to 150 cm and prices from € 2.196 to € 4.187. It is the largest family in the whirlpool bath range, and also the easiest to swap in: in most bathrooms the bath recess is already rectangular.

How to read the range by size

It helps to think in terms of width. Under 100 cm sit the narrow single baths, designed for bathrooms where space is tight: the Whirlpool bath BL-532 at 69 cm, the Whirlpool bath BL-501 and the Whirlpool bath BL-531 at 80. Between 110 and 130 cm are the intermediate models, generous singles or compact doubles. Above 150 cm you reach the true two-seat baths, such as the Whirlpool bath BL-516 at 190 × 150 cm. Length almost always stays between 170 and 190 cm, the standard measurement of a bath recess.

What changes in the specification

Jets run from six to 12: six-jet models work on the back and legs of a single person, twelve-jet models spread the massage across two positions. Empty weight runs from 75 kg on the lightest to 185 kg on the largest: the same order of magnitude as a conventional bath. All of them require a drain, water feeds and a socket compliant with bathroom regulations.

Will it replace the bath I already have? In most cases yes, if the dimensions match. Measure the width and length of the existing recess and compare them against the model's technical sheet: if they fit, the job requires no building work beyond the connections.

Is it suitable for two people? It depends on the model: those over 150 cm in width have two genuine positions. Below that they are generous single baths.
