Single tub swim spas

One tub, swimming and relaxation in the same space

A single-tub swim spa brings everything together in one body: you swim against the current, and in the same water you sit at the end of the session. It is the more common configuration because it takes less space and costs less than a dual-zone model, against one compromise: there is a single temperature for every use. The 7 models run from 385 to 670 cm in length, with prices from € 15.748 to € 35.005.

The three length bands

Under 450 cm sit the compact models: the Swim spa BL-821 at 385 cm with 59 jets across 6 positions, and the Swim spa BL-823 at 430. These are the sizes that fit an ordinary garden. Between 450 and 600 cm come the Swim spa BL-824, the Swim spa BL-860, which with 74 jets is the richest on the hydromassage side, and the Swim spa BL-861. Above 600 cm the Swim spa BL-855, at 670 cm with a depth of 165 cm: here the tub is built for genuine swimming rather than for relaxation.

Weight and installation

Empty weights run from 680 kg to 2030 kg; with water the larger models exceed ten tonnes. A concrete base sized by an engineer is always required, and for a recessed installation an excavation design that keeps the equipment bay accessible. The supply is typically three-phase 380 V, with a plant room for pumps, filtration and heating. Positioning can be above ground, partially recessed or fully recessed.

Frequently asked questions about single-tub swim spas

Can you really swim, or is it just a jet? The system generates an adjustable current you swim against while staying in place. Intensity is set to the level required, from a gentle swim to a demanding workout.

What length is needed? For continuous swimming you want at least 400 cm; below that the stroke feels compressed. If the main use is relaxation with occasional swimming, the shorter models work well.

Can it be used in winter? Yes, the heating holds the set temperature all year round. A thermal cover is essential at these volumes: without one, the cost of holding temperature rises noticeably.

How much does it cost? From € 15.748 to € 35.005, depending on length and specification.
