Two person sauna: the size that fits indoors

A two-person sauna takes little more than one and a half square metres and fits a generous bathroom, a basement room or a corner of a loft. The 2 models in the range cover the two main technologies: the Finnish sauna BL-181, a Finnish cabin with a stone heater that brings the air up to 90 degrees; and the Infrared sauna BL-103, infrared, which works between 45 and 60 degrees by heating the body directly rather than the air. These are different experiences, not two versions of the same product.

Footprint and height: check the ceiling first

The Finnish sauna BL-181 measures 150 × 100 cm, the Infrared sauna BL-103 155 × 110. Height is the figure that blocks most installations: 200 cm for the Finnish cabin, 190 for the infrared one. In a loft or a basement with a low ceiling, measure the available height before ordering, allowing for the thickness of any screed if the cabin sits on one.

Finnish or infrared

The difference lies in how the heat is produced. A Finnish sauna heats the air with a stone heater: it reaches 80 to 90 degrees at low humidity, you sweat heavily, and water can be poured onto the stones for a burst of steam. Heating takes more than forty minutes. An infrared sauna emits radiant heat that reaches the body directly: the air stays between 45 and 60 degrees, the environment is far more tolerable, and you can go in a few minutes after switching on. Anyone after the traditional ritual chooses the Finnish cabin; anyone wanting short frequent sessions with no waiting chooses infrared.

Frequently asked questions about 2 person saunas

Is a special electrical installation needed? Finnish heaters at this size generally require a dedicated circuit; infrared cabins connect to a standard domestic socket. Check against the model's technical sheet and have the work done by a qualified electrician.

Does it work in a bathroom? Yes, provided there is the space and the ceiling is high enough. Ventilation is required: a sauna produces humidity and the room has to be able to clear it.

How much does a two person sauna cost? From € 3.955 to € 5.074, depending on technology and finishes.

Is assembly complicated? The cabins arrive as a kit of pre-assembled panels that slot together. No building work is needed: the sauna sits on the existing floor.

Applicable requirements

The service is provided by Beauty Luxury S.r.l. and is an e-commerce service. It is subject to the accessibility requirements of Annex I, Sections III and IV, point (f), of Directive (EU) 2019/882, transposed into Italian law by Legislative Decree No. 82 of 27 May 2022. The sections below describe how the service meets those requirements.

How the site works

Every page can be used with a keyboard alone. The first link on each page skips to the main content. The element you are on is always outlined, and menus, drawers, and dialogues return you to the control that opened them when they close.

Display settings, linked at the top of every page and in the footer, change text size, text spacing, link underlining, and contrast; your choice is stored only in your browser.

Accessibility features

Perceivable

Contrast (minimum): Where text sits on a solid background, it stands out clearly enough to be read with reduced vision, at the levelWCAGrequires. Where text sits on a photograph, the high-contrast and plain views in the display settings give it a solid background.

Resize text: Text can be resized up to 200 per cent without loss of content or functionality.

Text spacing: Line, word, and letter spacing can be increased without loss of content or functionality.

Images and colour: Images that carry meaning have a text alternative, and colour is never the only way information is given.

Operable

Every function can be reached and used with a keyboard, focus follows the reading order and stays visible, nothing flashes, and moving content can be paused.

Understandable

Every page declares its language, navigation and controls stay consistent from page to page, and form fields have visible labels with errors described in words.

Robust

Interactive components expose their name, role, and state to assistive technologies.

Buying and paying

Account creation, sign-in, quotation requests, checkout, and payment meet the points above.
