At this size the format changes in nature: it is no longer a cabin for one or two people but a room where a group sits in a circle and where you can stretch out on the upper bench. Where a sauna this size can be installed

Four square metres of free floor is the first condition, but not the only one: a usable height of at least 200 cm is needed plus the thickness of any screed, and room must be left for the door to open and for the safety clearance around the heater. Typical locations are basement rooms, dedicated spaces or spas in guest accommodation. Empty weight is 200 kg, spread across the whole base, but room ventilation becomes important: a five-person sauna produces far more humidity than a small one.
